Sources say Intel's 13th generation Raptor Lake desktop CPUs are going up in price by about $40 to $140

In the past two months we've heard reports about Intel's price hikes, for example, Intel's CFO has confirmed that it plans to implement a price increase for all its products starting in Q4 this year, ranging from 10-20%, but the discussion about whether or not the 13th generation Cores will increase in price has been inconclusive.

In his latest video, YouTuber @Moore's Law is Dead put up a chart indicating that the upcoming 13th generation Raptor Lake-S series desktop CPUs will be a bit more expensive than their 12th generation predecessors.

The Core i9-13900K and i9-13900KF are said to be $70 (about $490.7) to $140 (about $981.4) more expensive than the 12900 and 12900KF, while the Core i5-13600K/KF should be $40 (about $280.4) to $80 (about $560.8) more expensive than the 12600K/KF. 560.8).

The Core i7-13700K and i7-13700KF should debut at $55 (~$385.55) to $105 (~$736.05) more expensive than the 12700 and 12700KF.

Not surprisingly, Intel's 13th generation Core processors will be released in the early hours of September 28th, Beijing time, and will be available on October 20th, with the first models including the K-series models of i9, i7, and i5.

The news suggests that the 13-generation Core i9K models will be available for pre-sale in China after the September 28 release, and then there appears to be a domestic launch on October 13, when the i7K and i5K models will be available for pre-sale.

Intel unveiled the pricing of Alder Lake 12th generation Core processors and Z690 motherboard chipsets in October last year.

The i9-12900K is $4999, the i9-12900KF is $4699, the i7-12700K is $3199, the i7-12700KF is $2999, the i5-12600K is $2299, and the i5-12600KF is $2099.

Compared to the debut prices of the corresponding models of the 11th generation, the flagship i9-12900K is $300 more expensive, while the i7 and i5 series are $250 and $400 higher respectively.
