Intel's 14th Generation Core Meteor Lake Revealed: New Low Power Performance Core, Xe-LPG GPU Architecture, Released in Second Half of 2023
The 12th generation of intelligent Intel Core desktop processors brings a new core design with a performance core (or "P-core") optimized for single- and light-threaded performance and an efficiency core (or "E-core") optimized for scaling highly threaded workloads. are optimized for scaling highly threaded workloads.
Although there are still immaturities in this heterogeneous design, Intel has been constantly working on optimizing it, for example, the next 13th generation of Core Raptor Lake will include more efficiency cores to further enhance multi-threaded performance.
IT Home has learned that the tipster @Igor'sLAB has now published a PPT of Intel's 14th generation Core mobile CPU series.
This chart lists important details about the 14th generation Core mobile CPU family called Meteor Lake, and it's the first time we learn about all three MTL product lines: H, P, and U, with each series representing a different power segment.
This is also the first time we learn that the third CPU core is listed as the LP E-Core (Low Power Performance Core).
