Making way for the Raron 7000, news that AMD R7 5800X3D processors will drop in price next month
AMD's first 3D V-Cache CPU, the R7 5800X3D, will drop in price next month, according to WccfTech, citing tipster Greymon55.
According to reports, AMD's Raider 5000 series processors have all seen price cuts of varying degrees in the run-up to the Raider 7000 launch, but the R7 5800X3D has not yet seen a significant price cut due to its late release and latest technology.
In addition, the R7 7800X3D CPU with 3D V-Cache is expected to be launched later this year, and it remains to be seen if the regular R7 7800X will be launched.
In April this year, the AMD R7 5800X3D gaming processor was launched with a China debut of RMB 3099.
This processor features AMD 3D V-Cache technology for the first time on a Raider desktop processor. Officials say that with this industry-leading technology, the AMD R7 5800X3D gaming processor delivers an average 15% increase in gaming performance at high 1080P settings.
The AMD R7 5800X3D gaming processor features a 7nm process, "Zen 3" core architecture, up to 8 cores and 16 threads, 100MB of gaming cache (L2+L3), and a base frequency of 3.4GHz with acceleration up to 4.5GHz.
The R7 5800X3D is currently priced at RMB 2999 on Jingdong.
