"Robot furniture" into reality: the bed fell from the sky, the table through the wall out

The robot furniture is a win-win for both real estate and tenants.

The Ori Pocket Studios are a combination of furniture, where the designer hides the studio behind a TV cabinet and the wall can be moved around on a track installed along the wall. The wall can be moved back and forth on a track mounted along the wall. The furniture can be controlled by the user through an app that Ori provides. The automated furniture is protected and stops when there is an obstruction. In the event of a power outage, the furniture can be moved manually.

Kasi Bailey, 31, a resident of the building, says, "If someone comes over, you can just push a button and instantly hide a messy bedroom or closet." While she still worries about running into problems because the technology is so new, she hasn't had any so far.

Matt Bischoff, investment director of Watermark Equity Group, the real estate developer that built the building, said the average size of a studio apartment in the area is 55 square meters and the average rent is $1,450, but the average size of these apartments with robotic furniture is 31 square meters and the average rent is $1,100. The average size of these robotically furnished apartments is 31 square meters and the average rent is $1,100. Tenants are renting for less, and they are making more money per square meter.

The robotic furniture has made smaller apartments more desirable. It usually takes six months to rent out all the apartments in the building, but with the robotic furniture installed, the process took only a month, Bischoff said.

The first time the company was in the market, it was a good choice.

The Wall Street Journal said that if Ori is compared to IKEA in the field of robotic furniture, it is affordable and cost-effective. Then the interior design company Bumblebee Spaces is its wealthier "relative". Almost all of the company's employees are former Apple and former Tesla employees.

Bumblebee Spaces has inserted beds, tables, cabinets, etc. into the ceiling of the living room, making storage space more convenient. In addition, Bumblebee Space is also working on an app that will sort all the items in the space.

The newest addition to the Bumblebee space is the "Bumblebee" app. A box will fall from the ceiling and bring the watch to you. Sankarshan Murthy, CEO of Bumblebee, says, "It's all thanks to cameras and artificial intelligence systems that can sort through hundreds of household items. Basically, they can find anything you throw at them."
