When it comes to sweeping robots, there are often friends and relatives around who ask me which brand is better to use. And every time, Stone is always the one brand that can't be beaten. It just so happens that on August 15, Stone Technology released a new sweeping and mopping robot, G10 Plus, which is the latest member of the same lineage as the previous G10 and G10S series, and IT House has already got its hands on this Stone G10 Plus, so let's see if this sweeping and mopping robot is worth getting through the review.

I. Design

The G10 Plus is basically a continuation of the previous G10's design style, reflecting the unity of the family's product design.

Specifically, the G10 Plus has the usual Stone white colour scheme and a flat, rounded body, making it instantly recognisable as a Stone product.

The top of the G10 Plus has a protruding round laser distance and pressure sensor, and the top of the module has the Stone "Z" shaped logo, which is a striking and eye-catching feature and a signature Stone design element. The classic Stone buttons for recharge, power and local sweep are also on the top of the unit.

The top half of the cover can be lifted off, with a notch for easy opening and a woven texture on the exposed area, which is the most distinctive feature that distinguishes it from the previous Stone G10.

The top cover is half lifted to reveal a still white interior with a dust box, Wi-Fi indicator and reset button. The glossy glass next to the dust box also has the word roborock printed on it, keeping the design simple and organised.

Looking at the side of the unit, there are still a lot of openings and sensors, including a sensor along the wall, charging contacts, infrared fill light, Reactive AI recognition obstacle avoidance sensor, recharge sensor, air vent, lift and vibrate module, etc. Despite the many modules, the design is well laid out and does not look cluttered.

The underside of the Stone G10 Plus body is black and houses a range of components such as the carpet recognition sensor, gimbal, main wheels, side brushes, cliff sensors and the ability to add a mop here as well. Although we basically don't look at the bottom of the sweeping and mopping robot in normal use, the overall design here is quite sensible and well thought out.
