MSI Announces SPATIUM M570 PCIe 5.0 SSD with 10GB/s sequential read/write speed
September 22, 2012 - According to MSI official news, today MSI announced the launch of the new SPATIUM M570 PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 HS with read speeds up to 10GB/s, combining the latest top PCIe 5th generation controller technology with high quality 3D NAND flash and advanced cooling technology.
According to the introduction, SPATIUM M570 PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 HS SSD with bronze aluminum heat sink achieves an amazing leap in storage performance with more than 1.5 times faster read/write speed compared to the current PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The SPATIUM M570 HS is powered by the Ultramarine PS5026-E26 host controller and is compliant with NVMe 2.0 and M.2 2280 form factors in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities.
According to MSI's testing, the next-generation SPATIUM PCIe 5.0 SSD can achieve sequential read speeds of over 12,000MB/s and write speeds of 10,000MB/s. In a RAID 0 configuration, the next-generation SPATIUM PCIe 5.0 SSDs can even deliver 170% faster transfer speeds compared to a single PCIe 5.0 SSD setup.
