AMD's current RX 6000 series graphics cards are mainly built using TSMC's 7nm process, which can easily reach or exceed 3.0 GHz while ensuring heat dissipation. AMD's new RX 7000 series graphics cards will use TSMC's 5nm process, and if the news is true, the GPU frequency will reach a new high.

WccfTech reports that the series of RDNA 3 GPUs will offer a range of new technologies, including a fine-grained adaptive power management technology that ensures the GPU only utilizes the power required by the workload. In addition, the GPUs will also feature next-generation AMD Infinity Cache, which provides higher density, lower power cache and reduced power requirements for graphics memory.

AMD RX 7000 series graphics cards will feature RDNA3 architecture GPUs, officially confirmed to be available later this year with a significant performance boost, and David Wang, senior vice president of AMD Radeon, said the next-generation GPUs in the Radeon RX 7000 series will offer more than a 50 percent performance per watt improvement over existing RDNA 2 GPUs.
