Meet the RTX 40 graphics card with MSI's first ATX 3.0 power supply, powered by a new 16-pin connector 600W
The NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti and upcoming RTX 40 graphics cards will feature a new "PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR" 16-pin power supply interface with 600W of power capacity.
Now MSI has announced the launch of the MEG Ai1300P PCIE5 power supply, which it says is the world's first fully ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 ready power supply with a native 16-pin power connector.
ATX 3.0 is Intel's new specification standard for existing power supplies. the main purpose of ATX 3.0 is to provide higher reliability and better power efficiency, and to deliver up to 600 watts of power to graphics cards. ATX 3.0 places a strong emphasis on power offset to ensure that high-performance graphics cards can be used continuously while the system remains stable.
MSI's 1300W power supply is 80 Plus Platinum certified and has been tested to safely achieve up to 2x total power offset at 120%, 160%, 180% and 200% wattage.
