ASRock launches new BIOS for AMD AM5 motherboards, cutting boot time in half

Today, ASRock announced the release of a new BIOS version for the upcoming AMD AM5 motherboard that reduces the time required to boot up.

ASRock is committed to bringing the best user experience to users by continuously optimizing the BIOS to provide better compatibility and shorter boot time. Now, ASRock has completed the new BIOS version with significantly reduced boot time, users can download the update from the official website as soon as they receive the motherboard. According to the actual test, the boot-up seconds can be reduced by almost half than expected, and the first boot-up speed is improved.


In addition, ASRock X670E / X670 supports BIOS Flashback function, which allows all users to easily update BIOS without CPU and RAM via 24-pin power supply and USB flash drive.


At Computex Taipei in May this year, ASRock announced the new generation of AMD X670 series motherboards.

ASRock said that the new generation of AMD X670 chipset motherboards include the luxury flagship X670E Taichi series, the X670E Steel Legend, and the X670E Pro RS for the general public. In addition, it also supports dual Thunderbolt 4.0 Type-C interfaces.
