ShadowChip's first PCIe 5.0 SSD announced: 12GB/s sequential read, 1500K IOPS random read
ShadowChip has announced its first PCIe 5.0 SSD, model HOF EXTREME 50.
According to the report, the flagship solid state of Shadowrun HOF EXTREME 50 will use the first PCIe 5.0 controller chip of Groupon - PS5026-E26, using TSMC 12nm process, and with 232 layers of 3D TLC NAND flash memory.
The overall performance is greatly improved compared to the previous generation PCIe 4.0 solid state, and the capacity is also available in 1TB / 2TB / 4TB.
NAND flash memory, the Shadowrun HOF EXTREME 50 solid state is equipped with Micron's most advanced 232-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory, interface rate of 2400MT / s, is the most advanced flash memory in its class, compared to the previous generation of products, this PCIe 5.0 solid state can bring a higher level of speed performance for enthusiasts.
At this time, Shadowrun has not yet announced the release date of this SSD.
