AMD R7 7700X test sneak peek: 25% performance boost compared to R7 5800X
The R7 7700X, an 8-core model of AMD's upcoming Raider 7000 processor, has been spied by the "EP Extreme Gamer Hall" with a Cinebench R20 score of 773 for single-core and 7701 for multi-core.
According to the data from WccfTech, the R7 7700X has a single-core score that exceeds the previous generation R7 5800X by 25% and a multi-core score that exceeds 26%. Compared to the Intel model, the R7 7700X single-core score exceeds the i7-12700K and the multi-core score exceeds the i5-12600K.
According to previous reports, the R7 7700X is an 8-core, 16-thread specification with a maximum of 5.4GHz, L2+L3 cache of 40MB, 105W TDP, and a possible price of $299 (about $2030.21).
The R7 7700X is expected to be positioned where the current R7 5800X is. The R7 5800X has 8 cores and 16 threads, up to 4.7GHz, L2+L3 cache 36MB, 105W TDP, and is currently priced at $1,749 in Jingdong.
AMD will release the parameters and price of the Raider 7000 on August 30 and it is expected to be available later in September. The following is AMD's Raider 7000 first lineup of explosive information.
