Apple iOS / iPadOS 15.6 Developer Preview Beta 5 Released
IT Home July 6 - Apple today released the fifth beta version of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 (internal version number: 19G5063a) to developers, 7 days after the last release of this update.
Developers can already download iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 through the Apple Developer Center, or via OTA after installing the appropriate profile on your iPhone or iPad.
Of course, we don't know what new features are being introduced in iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6 yet. Apple has now completed all the promised features given at the launch of iOS and iPadOS 15, and development on iOS 15 will likely wind down as iOS 16 approaches.
As it stands now, there are no new features in the first three beta versions of iOS 15.6 and iPadOS 15.6, suggesting that these recent updates are mostly bug fixes and other internal improvements on.
IT Home has learned that Apple today also launched tvOS 15.6, watchOS 8.7, and the fifth developer beta of macOS Monterey 12.5.
How to upgrade iOS / iPadOS / watchOS / macOS development version / public beta?
Simply download and install the [description file] to detect the development / public beta upgrade in System Update, see below for how to download the description file.
It should be noted that due to the server configuration caching problem of Apple's regional nodes, there may be a slight delay in detecting the update in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.
