Armor Man Announces Next Generation Industrial Grade Flash Memory with SLC Mode
Armored Man has introduced a new industrial grade flash memory device. Featuring the latest generation of Armored Man BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory with 3-bit-per-cell (TLC) technology in a 132-BGA package, available in 64 GB to 512 GB.
Armorama's new industrial flash memory reportedly supports a wide temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) for harsh industrial environments. In addition, since flash cell performance and reliability degrade as the number of bits per cell increases, the new Armored Warrior flash memory features a 1-bit-per-cell (SLC) mode that provides better reliability.
As one of the largest suppliers of flash memory, Armored Warrior is committed to supporting a wide range of industrial grade solutions and accommodating long life cycle applications, said Brian Kumagai, Director of Business Development at Armored Warrior USA. The introduction of the next generation of industrial grade BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory continues our commitment to supporting the industrial market segment.
The new Armored Man industrial flash is expected to be in volume production by the end of the fourth quarter of 2022.
