Tesla will soon enter the Thai market and start hiring consultants and other various positions in Bangkok
In early August, Tesla's Shanghai Super Factory completed a production line upgrade, and the production speed of Tesla's electric vehicles was greatly increased. With the increase in production, Tesla began to enter the passenger car market in more countries and regions.
As TESLARATI reported today, in May, Twitter user @Ekapob shared a document from Tesla's Ministry of Commerce in Thailand that mentioned David Jon Feinstein, Tesla's senior global director for entering new markets. The company will be responsible for selling new energy vehicles such as passenger cars, pickup trucks, vans and minivans.
Recently, Tesla has posted job openings in Bangkok for consultants, office administrators, senior recruiters, vehicle technicians, public policy and business development managers, and inside sales consultants. Among other things, the Public Policy and Business Development Manager will be responsible for representing Tesla with Thai government officials to discuss policies and regulations affecting Tesla in Thailand. This series of hires indicates that Tesla is about to enter the Thai market.
Tesla has not yet built infrastructure such as Superchargers in Thailand, a situation that will change as Tesla begins operating its electric vehicle business in Thailand.
