Mini build Pokémon concept pure electric car, can be connected to the host projection playing games
Mini has collaborated with Pokemon to develop a Pikachu-themed concept pure electric car, which Mini showcased at a live event at the opening night of the Cologne International Game Show. The car can be connected to a game console and use the car to project the game onto objects in front of it.
Based on Mini's Aceman concept car announced in July, the vehicle features a "Pokémon mode" where Pikachu takes over the vehicle's main display and its signature digital lightning bolt cuts across the dashboard when the vehicle is activated.
The coolest part of this concept car is that it can be connected to a game console and then use the vehicle's external projector to project the game onto the object in front of it. Of course, the darker the environment, the better, and you have to find a flat surface so the projection doesn't get distorted.
Mini didn't provide any information about which console the car will support - it's just a concept car, after all - but if Mini does manage to add this feature to its future cars, it's sure to be very popular.
