GPU chip and computing power provider Titan Wisdom Core completes over 1 billion yuan of financing to develop Wisdom Armor 100, Tiangai 200 and 300 chips
("Tensys"), China's first general purpose GPU high-end chip and high performance computing system provider, announced that it has closed a Series C+ and C++ round of funding of over RMB 1 billion.
The Series C+ round was led by Financial Street Capital, and the Series C++ round was led by Houan Innovation Fund, a joint venture between Houan Investment and ARM, the world's leading semiconductor technology IP company. Zhongguancun Science City Technology Growth Fund, Shanghai Guosheng, Xicheng Zhiyuan, Xinxing Assets, Dingxiang Capital, Dingli Capital, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Industrial Finance, Shanghai Free Trade Zone Equity Fund and other well-known companies and institutions participated in the investment.
The round of financing will help the company to mass-produce the AI inference chip Smart Armor 100, develop the second and third generation AI training chips Tiangai 200 and 300, expand the software platform of Smart Armor, and accelerate the integration of AI and graphics, according to the company.
In December 2020, Tandus Intelligent Core successfully lit the first 7nm cloud training GPU product, Tiangai 100, and officially launched it in March 2021. 100" was successfully lit.
