Samsung Announces New ViewFinity Display: 27-inch 4K Resolution, Dual Thunderbolt 4 Interface
In May, Samsung announced the ViewFinity S8 series of monitors in 27-inch and 32-inch models, both with 4K resolution. Now, Samsung has released another 27-inch model (S27B800T) with an even richer interface.
The new S27B800T reportedly has less quantum dot technology and HDR400 certification than the older 27-inch model, but has higher interface specifications with two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, one supporting 90W PD reverse power and the other supporting 15W PD reverse power. Other ports include HDMI 2.0, a wired network port and a USB-A port.
The new S27B800T monitor is a 27-inch 4K 60Hz display with HDR10 support, 5ms grayscale response time, and 99% sRGB color gamut.
At the moment, Samsung has not yet announced the price and availability of this monitor.
