Apple's Apple Watch Series 8 will have a new red model and plenty of stock

Apple has announced a special "Far Out" event on September 8 at 1:00 a.m. Beijing time. The event will still be an online event, and is expected to feature the iPhone 14 / Pro series, Apple Watch Series 8 and other new products, as well as the launch of iOS 16.

According to ShrimpApplePro's sources, Apple Watch Series 8 will be available in a "new red color" and is expected to be released without delay.

In a tweet today, ShrimpApplePro said that Apple's Apple Watch Series 8 will continue to be available in 41mm and 45mm case sizes, just like the Apple Watch Series 7. In a previous report on Apple Watch Series 8 color options, the tipster added that the device's (PRODUCT) RED option will be "the new red.

Compared to the Series 7, the Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to offer a smaller number of color options. It will likely only be available in Midnight Black, Starlight, PRODUCT (RED) Red and Silver, with no blue or green options.

The Apple Watch Series 8 box is also said to feature the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7, but with more glue on the pull tab. The purpose of this change is to ensure that glue marks are left behind when the tab is removed to more clearly confirm that the box has been opened. The adjusted packaging is also thought to apply to the iPhone 14 series. the contents of the Apple Watch Series 8 box are essentially the same as those of the Series 7.
