Logitech website shows new Apple iPad Pro 12.9/11-inch model coming soon
References to two unannounced iPad Pro models leaked ahead of an event rumored to take place as early as October, where the new iPad and Mac are expected to be unveiled.
References found by 9to5Mac on Logitech's website include the sixth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro and the fourth-generation 11-inch iPad Pro, both of which are expected next month. The references don't provide details about the new products, but they do say they're "coming soon.
Logitech includes the unreleased iPad in its list of iPads supported by the Crayon Digital Pencil, which is the only one that offers an integrated third-party stylus similar to the Apple Pencil. As 9to5Mac points out, these references may have some accuracy given the close relationship between Logitech and Apple.
The new 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pros are not expected to undergo any major redesign and will instead benefit from the M2 chip. There were early rumors that the 11-inch model would come with a new mini-LED display, but that's not expected to happen. Other revelations hint that the iPad Pro will feature some form of MagSafe magnetic charging.
On top of that, Apple has confirmed that a major release of iPadOS 16.1 will arrive in October with support for multitasking features like front-of-house scheduling.
