Apple begins selling refurbished iPhone 12 mini for the first time in the U.S., 128GB version for about $3,908
Today, Apple began selling a certified refurbished version of the iPhone 12 mini in the U.S. for the first time since the device was released in October 2020, MacRumors reports.
Currently, Apple's online refurbished store only has a refurbished iPhone 12 mini with a black finish and 128GB of storage for $579 (about $3,908.25).
It's worth noting that Apple is still selling a new 128GB version of the iPhone 12 mini for $649 (approximately $4,380.75). The refurbished iPhone 12 mini doesn't come with much of a discount.
All refurbished iPhones come with a new battery, a new case, all instructions and a USB-C to Lightning cable. All refurbished iPhones are also covered by Apple's standard one-year warranty and are eligible for the AppleCare+ extended warranty.
Apple says the refurbished iPhones have been thoroughly tested and cleaned, and in Apple's opinion, "they are virtually indistinguishable from brand new iPhones." IT Home has learned that the iPhone 12 mini features a 5.4-inch OLED display, an A14 bionic chip, 5G support, dual 12MP rear cameras and more. 12MP rear camera, etc.
