The annual study of credit card satisfaction in the United States was recently released, and for the second year in a row, Apple came out on top.

Apple Card and Goldman Sachs, the issuer, also ranked highest among all credit card issuers," Apple said. This is the second consecutive year the survey has been conducted in the midsize credit card issuer space, including interactions, credit card terms and conditions, communications, benefits and services, rewards and key moments."

"Improving the lives of our customers is at the heart of what we do, so we are honored that Apple Card and card issuer Goldman Sachs were recognized for customer satisfaction again this year," said Jennifer Bailey, Apple's vice president for Apple Pay and Apple Wallet. "We remain committed to providing a digital-first credit card that helps customers lead healthier financial lives, and we look forward to continuing to provide Apple Card users with innovative financial tools and award-winning customer satisfaction."

In Apple Card and Apple Pay-related news, some users have discovered that American Express cards were accidentally removed from the iOS 16 Beta, and Apple partner Goldman Sachs is facing a regulatory investigation from the CFPB, including complaints about the handling of controversial transactions. The investigation reportedly focuses on Apple Card customer complaints from the past few years.

Launched three years ago and available only to eligible U.S. residents, the Apple Card is managed entirely through the Wallet app on iPhone or Apple Watch, and its key features include color-coded spending summaries, cash back on daily payments, an interest-free option to purchase new Apple products, and interest charges on past-due balances in addition to Fees. Stores that don't accept contactless payments can also use a physical Apple Card.
