Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in March that according to Apple's iPhone naming rules, the four new iPhones for the second half of this year are expected to be named iPhone 14 (6.1 inches), iPhone 14 Max (6.7 inches), iPhone 14 Pro (6.1 inches) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7 inches). .

According to a research report by Cinda International, the iPhone 14 series has already started trial production and Apple plans to mass-produce it in August, and has informed suppliers that initial sales after launch are expected to be higher than the iPhone 13 series a year ago.

On July 16, Foxconn's iDPBG business group released a news release saying that the Zhengzhou plant has been rewarded up to RMB 10,000 per person since July 17. In June, Foxconn's iDPBG business group in Zhengzhou was already recruiting trainees, with a recruitment bonus of 6,000 yuan per person.

In addition, Taiwanese media reported earlier this month that Hon Hai's Foxconn Zhengzhou plant has started to enter the production cycle of the new generation of Apple phones, and some institutional parts, including the rear shell, are entering a slow production capacity enhancement phase, which is expected to usher in the mass production assembly of the whole machine in August. According to previous years, Apple's supply chain capacity will gradually climb and enter the production peak at the end of July, and start batch assembly of the whole machine in August and continue until the end of the year.
