Faraday Future releases manufacturing update to ensure FF 91 delivery in Q3 or Q4
Faraday Future has released an update on its Hanford facility and announced the official name of the manufacturing facility - FF ieFactory California.
The FF ieFactory California will produce the electric car FF 91 for the North American and Chinese markets.
The body lines, electrophoresis systems, paint ovens and associated conveyor facilities are all in place and ready for mass production," said Faraday Future Global CEO, Mr. Biff Bickham. At the same time, we are continuing to produce and build quasi-production vehicles for final test validation, paving the way for subsequent mass production efforts."
On the body shop side, Faraday Future said FF is nearing the completion of its 6th manufacturing milestone, which is the completion of all infrastructure and equipment installation in the main vehicle manufacturing area. The robot arm in the body shop is also in the final stages of commissioning and validation to support mass production.
In addition, Faraday Future will hire more than 350 new employees at FF ieFactory California as production scales up.
