KDDI virtual singer Luya is here to bring AI + music to life
By 23 Sep,2022
When I watched science fiction movies as a child, the robots in them had a rule of thumb to change all their tones to one. This is probably one of our earliest "stereotypes" of robots.
But now, decades later, AI robots can mimic human speech so well that you can't tell if it's true or false -- not just by talking, but by singing songs that make you wonder how well you can tell.
Just recently, another AI virtual singer has hit the scene: Luya, from KDDI.
Luya, whose debut was officially announced on August 26, 2022, has big eyes, pink pills, and a cute image paired with a cool, tech-savvy outfit that's easy to love.
