A few days ago, ASUS announced three AMD X670E series ATX motherboards, namely the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO, ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING WIFI and TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI.
Tonight, ASUS also announced the new mATX and mini-ITX X670E motherboards, the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E GENE and ROG STRIX X670E-I GAMING WIFI respectively.
The mATX-based ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard is equipped with a 16+2 phase power solution, PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots, USB4 support, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port with 60W charging support.
The mini-ITX board ROG STRIX X670E-I Gaming WiFI features a special design where one of the two Promontory 21 chips is located on a modular PCB, thus saving space, according to the external media WccfTech. In addition, this motherboard is also equipped with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots.
