The Base Smart Drying Kit is optional and includes the dryer body and a special baseplate. After installing the kit according to the instructions, the dryer is placed on the left side of the base, making the installation process very easy and the dryer is small enough not to take up much space.

For everyday use, when the Stone G10 Plus is charging in the base, a short press on the dryer button will activate the drying function of the drying kit. When drying, the dryer blows hot air through a hidden air outlet in the floor, which speeds up the drying of the mop.

When the Smart Drying Kit is installed, the drying-related functions are recognised and updated in the mobile app and you can adjust the drying time according to the humidity of the mop, with 2, 3 and 4 hours available.

As well as using the drying button, you can also enable the 'auto-drying' function on the mobile app, which will automatically start drying when the robot returns to the base.

In practice, after mopping a floor with a wet mop, I started to return the Stone G10 Plus to the base while the drying function was on.

When the drying kit was running, I used a paper towel to get close to the mopping cloth of the floor sweeper, where there was clearly hot air blowing out. At the same time the drying kit does not make much noise when it is running and does not interfere with normal life and rest.

After the 2-hour drying process, I observed the Stone G10 Plus mop again and found that it had indeed dried out.

Without it, the mop would not have dried for a day or two, especially during the rainy season, and the odour would have developed.
